There's something about this island-conjured celebration, Tyler thinks, that doesn't feel like it'll be quite as eventful as the one at Lambeth had - glancing around, he can already tell that the majority vice of choice is either alcohol or food, beer and champagne flowing readily alongside fancy pastries and New York-style pizza. They'd even somehow managed to replicate one of his favorite burgers from a local joint in Cambridge, stacked high with meat and cheese melting over. He'd only been able to eat the whole thing on his best days while in training, but that doesn't stop him from grabbing one and bringing it over to show Cameron, coaxing his brother into at least splitting one down the middle.

Between that and the beer he's had - island-brewed, if the rumors are to be believed, and not half-bad - he's feeling fairly contented as he ducks outside to get a little air. It's drawing closer to midnight all the time - the countdown is probably only ten minutes or so away, and yet he doesn't feel compelled to head back in yet, glimpsing his breath visible in the air as he looks out at quiet city streets, momentarily lost in thought.

He's about to head back inside when he spots someone else with the same idea, and he has the advantage of both a dress coat and a warmer wool one, so he lends the latter to Caroline, wrapping it around her shoulders. "I can't decide if I'm too warm in there or too cold out here," he admits, rounding around to stand in front of her with a slow grin. He hasn't seen her since the last party, but the memory of how the night had ended still lingers, and he's been debating over how to approach the subject ever since.
